Reclamation

The Claims Procedure is an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions of SKARAB, s.r.o., with its registered office at 9. května 1162, 74258 Příbor, Company ID: 25857631, registered with the Regional Court in Ostrava in section C, insert 22394, and describes the process for handling complaints regarding goods purchased from Skarab.

Complaints about purchased goods can be made only at the store or with drivers delivering goods to customers, provided that the goods are clean and accompanied by a duly completed complaint protocol, which can be downloaded below or found on the General Terms and Conditions page - Procedure for Complaining About Product Defects.

Goods shipped via a transport service must be checked immediately, and if damage is found, a damage report must be filed with the transport service within two days and reported to the seller (by fax or email). The carrier has the right to inspect the actual damage or partial loss of the shipment, so we recommend that the buyer does not handle the damaged shipment and keeps the packaging and fillings in which the shipment was delivered (we always recommend photo documentation).

The claimed goods can be inspected directly at the store or handed over to the supplier. A claim can be refused if the claimed goods have a defect for which the supplier is not responsible according to the law or the purchase contract, if the goods are out of warranty, or if the goods have been handled or improperly installed (if installed by a professional service, proof of installation must be provided).

Resolving a complaint means that the defective goods will be repaired, replaced with a new piece, offered a discount, or refunded.

The buyer is obliged to familiarize themselves with the Claims Procedure and the General Terms and Conditions before purchasing or ordering goods. The buyer also acknowledges the need for cooperation required to handle the complaint; otherwise, the deadlines are appropriately extended by the time during which the buyer did not provide the required cooperation.
